Well, here I go again! I didn't finish last time and have been using elements from 2.0 every day at work, so I'm now going to complete this in an orderly and organised fashion. That in itself will be an accomplishment.
Wish me luck...

RSS feeds
It took a while to work out how to connect a feed to my blog page, but luckily just when I was feeling a bit like a shafted librarian, there it was - The Shifted Librarian.
Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I have also added Libraybytes
I'm not sure how useful these rss feeds will be, it seems I now have many more passwords, and pages to log into and check... if I ever have the time.
However, I have completed another week and I am very happy with my achievements.

Love for Books II
Where is your favourite place to read? Mine depends on what I'm reading and of course, the weather. As we roll into autumn I am taking full advantage of a sunny spot on the bench in the garden. I take my tea, a large cushion and my reading selection. It's not so much a luxury as a need. A different need from the way the bathroom may need cleaning, that can wait until tomorrow. Those who said the electronic age would spell the demise of books were wrong. Reading is an emotional need. I love it.

First time
Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog. This is my first posting so I'll keep it short (like me).
I'm not usually lost for words, but I find I'm fairly blank at this point!
Lets' just say I am looking forward to learning much more about blogs so thanks to State Library of NSW and Learning 2.0 for giving me the opportunity.
Maybe blogging will become my new obsession... at the moment I feel more like 0.5 not 2.0, but that's why I'm here.
What makes a successful blog?
Who created the word "blog"?
Why do we suddenly have an insatiable urge to blog?
Will my writing skills improve and I'll be proud of the short, pithy and relevant comments I can make?
Well, I'm short already so one out of three is possible.
Anyway, it's Friday afternoon and in short, I'm out of time and off for a wine.
Happy reading
